Chapman Invite

Ryan Helus in the rain on the par 4 #9 in Chapman
The rain and drizzle were a major factor after 2 holes of play.  The weather turned from a pleasant mugginess to a frigid wet and windy day.  It didn't bode well for the Red Raiders.  They were able to manage a few descent scores, but the rounds just didn't generate what the team had hoped.  Unfortunately, it was called after only 9 holes, so the final results may have been different.  Wamego was able to place 2nd in the 4-man (163-167).  Individually, Ryan Elder placed 2nd with a 39 and Dane Stewart tied for 3rd, placing 4th after a tiebreaker with a 40.
The team continues to expect hardware at every meet, we'll see how they bode at Abilene next week!
